A clearer path through
aging research.
ProAge Atlas is developing a research workspace for teams studying healthy aging—connecting scientific evidence, measurement methods and study planning.
Current stage Working prototype · Product discovery
Our purpose
Make the research question the starting point.
A research team needs more than a collection of papers. It needs to understand how a finding relates to a population, a measurement and a decision about the next study. Moving between those tasks can leave important assumptions scattered across separate documents and tools.
Atlas is being built around that connection. Our starting audience is small geroscience and longevity research groups, including clinical research teams comparing methods and outcomes. This is the audience we intend to learn from through product discovery.
The longer-term goal is a working record that a team can revisit, inspect and develop together.
The prototype
Useful tools. A shared direction.
The current prototype brings together a curated reference library, an overview of aging measurements, the PhenoAge Explorer, a statistical Study Planner and an evidence assistant working with selected source notes.
Explore the evidence
Start with curated references and the research question each source can inform.
Understand the measurement
Compare the inputs, intended outcomes and interpretation of different aging methods.
Plan a study
Explore sample size and power for a supported two-group study design.
The calculators offer downloadable outputs. Moving a question, selected sources and assumptions through one saved research package is the next product step. Team workspaces and project histories belong to the development plan.

Product engineering with a scientific context.
Alex Yarosh is the founder of ProAge Atlas and leads product development, engineering and applied AI. His work spans web platforms, structured information systems and practical automation. Atlas applies that experience to research workflows for healthy aging.
Meet the founderScientific interpretation remains a specialist responsibility. The institute’s people pages describe its professors and their actual institutional roles; these are separate from the software founder’s engineering role.
People and their workThe institute
A distinct institution. A connected field of inquiry.
The Open Institute of Age and Aging provides the wider scientific and educational context presented on this site: gerontology, geriatric medicine, healthy longevity and professional learning. ProAge Atlas is the research software initiative, described separately from those institutional activities.
Education programs, international projects and the separate Peptide Platform remain part of the institute’s context. They are not presented as Atlas customers, commercial pilots or product traction. Institutional titles do not establish employment, equity or advisory roles in Atlas.
